Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and account identifier. When you use the app, we collect study activity needed to provide the service, such as quiz results, scores, progress history, streaks, flashcard progress, entitlement status, and the study areas where you may need more practice.
If you purchase paid access, purchase and subscription information is processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We receive subscription status and product entitlement information so we can unlock paid features in your account.
If analytics are enabled, we may collect app interaction and diagnostic information, such as screens viewed, buttons tapped, feature usage, device/app identifiers, and performance information. We use this information to understand how the app is used and to improve reliability and product design.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve our CNA exam prep service
- To track your study progress and identify areas for improvement
- To unlock paid features and manage subscription status
- To maintain account security and troubleshoot support requests
- To send important account-related communications
Data Storage
Your account and study data are stored using Supabase. We use secure transport for data in transit and rely on our service providers' security controls for hosted infrastructure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — authentication and database
- RevenueCat — purchase and subscription entitlement management
- Apple App Store and Google Play — payment processing for mobile purchases
- PostHog — product analytics, if enabled in the app configuration
These providers process information on our behalf to operate the app. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep account and study data while your account is active so that your progress can sync across sessions. You can delete your account in the app from Profile → Delete Account. You can also request deletion at nursemastery.com/delete-account.
Account deletion removes your account profile and associated study data from our systems. If you have an active subscription, you should also cancel it through Apple App Store or Google Play, because deleting your app account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by the store.
Your Choices
You can request to view, export, or delete your data by contacting us at privacy@nursemastery.com. You may also manage or cancel subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play account used for purchase.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
